ADoseofBuckley is a comedian and ranter on YouTube. He is based out of London, Ontario, Canada. He usually uploads a new video every Sunday, although he sometimes make 2 videos in one week.
Types of videos[]
- Subject videos: These videos have no specific name to them. Buckley talks about subjects current to the time he made the video. These types of videos are also called "doses".
- Musical Autopsy: He often reviews songs in this series. There were a few unique times with this series, including reviewing the concept of pop princesses and reviewed artists themselves instead of a specific song.
- Worst Song of the Year: A Yearly series; He reviews 10 songs that he considers the worst released in the year similar to his Musical autopsy series.
- Scumbags of the Internet: His series where he talks about certain people. He often blurs their name out and disables comments on these videos cause he doesn't want said people to be attacked by his fans. His most famous video in the series is the second one due to the Jian Ghomeshi allegations going on later, and "Marla" (the woman who wrote the story in the 2nd one that Buckley read) wrote about the video in a news article.
- Social Media Meltdown: Videos where he pokes fun at meltdown on social media.
- Buckey's Breakdown: Buckley reviewing products.
Abandoned series[]
- Plenty of Pricks: Similar to his Scumbags on the Internet series, except with dating websites. Only had 1 video
- Bad Head: A series where he reads headlines of articles and follows it up with a joke. One joke made in his third bad head has led to a bit of backlash which led Buckley to make a dose on it.
- Reading Tweets: A series where he reads Tweets from celebrities. He has made one episode about reading tweets from directioners upset about Zayn Mlik leaving One Direction. Last episode was released February 21, 2016.
