Anton de Frankenpoint may have first person ever to have reached 8 feet or more in height. It is unknown when he
lived. There are no photos of him exept for his skeleton. His height is known because of the size of his bones. He was 8 feet 0 inches. His skeleton is missing his arms, hands, a foot, and the breastbone. He was from Germany.
In 1810, his skeleton was added to the collection of Museum Anatomicum in Marburg. Before 1810 it was part of the collection of the University of Helmstedt. In 1830, Christian Heinrich Bünger (who brought the skeleton to the Museum Anatomicum in Marburg) described the skeleton as follows in a catalog:
