BlackLivesMatter (also known as #BlackLivesMatter where the name came from) is a movement to stop police brutality on black people.
History[]
The group was originally formed after the results of the Zimmerman Trial. It later picked up more steam after the killing of Michael Brown.
Criticism[]
The movement is criticized by many for being a "terrorist group", and for endorsing the shooter in the Dallas shooting, and some other shootings. Along with some parades spreading anti-cop propaganda, and viral footage of them saying things like "Pigs in a blanket, fry them like bacon" and "When do we want dead cops, Now". Their rallies have caused the group BlueLivesMatter to be formed.
