Boris and Natasha: The Movie is a 1992 comedic spy fiction feature length film. The movie follows Boris and Natasha, two spies from the fictional Eastern European nation of Pottsylvania as they undertake a dire mission in the United States.

After the fall of the Berlin Wall Boris and Natasha return to Pottsylvania following the successful heist of a bejeweled Egg. There their Fearless Leader personally chooses them for a mission to capture a professor, but insists they must infiltrate the US as supposed defectors. Unbeknown to the due the Fearless Leader is sending them on a mission they are not suppose to survive. Another operative, Agent X, is to follow them to the professor- eliminate them- and bring the professor's 3 second time reversing microchip back to Pottsylvania so the Fearless Leader may have an unstoppable military to take over the world. After various failed attempts at sneaking out of Pottsylvania the Fearless Leader intervenes to directly send them to the US. There US authorities suspect the two operatives are up to something, but decide to play along with this supposed defection to learn what it is the agents are after. Following various comedic mishaps, explosions, murders, and social gatherings they locate the professor and are almost killed by the professor's evil twin brother. Fortunately the chip reverses time and after a brief stint in a time loop they escape by jumping out of a taxi that is set to explode. After this the agents agree to help the Professor- having learned that their own government is trying to kill them. The professor planned to ship the chips to every nation in the world to prevent any one nation from taking over, he had hoped that perhaps this device would end all wars. His brother wanted to sell the chip to the highest bidder, to profit from it and be renowned by claiming credit for the invention. The two agents try to win the evil twin over but simply being a hero to the nation of Pottsylvania isn't as appealing as profit from selling it to a super power. Before anything can go further a supposed government agent of the US reveals his own personal interest and steps in. In the interest of insurance companies he wants to suppress knowledge of the device so his benefactors may continue to profit from the wreckage of various accidents and other incidents. Two other agents, supposed neighbors back when Boris and Natasha where trying to seem like they had actually defected arrive- revealing themselves to be Moose and Squirrel- both altered to look Human. They are there to stop the self interested agent from achieving his plans. Then Fearless Leader arrives, stops the owner of the egg who came in to get it back, and then holds everyone else at gunpoint to take the chips and return to begin distributing them to his armed forces- after eliminating everyone else in the room. But before he can Natasha shorts out the lights, everyone scrambles, a Mexican Standoff results and Boris ends it by using dynamite to blow up everyone and the chips. But so many chips being destroyed and remaking themselves results in everyone there being sent back to the start of the film. Though not always in the same place- Boris, Natasha, and the Professor end up in the land of the bejeweled egg. Recalling what has happened to them, and knowing they'll be sent on the same mission when they return, they instead travel to Tahiti, thus averting a time loop. However, they had not counted on the others who had been in the room retaining their memories as well. The film ends with the narrator asking various questions about the implications of this as it's shown that nearly everyone is after the two in order to get the professor- but the two are just content to enjoy time in Tahiti after all they had been through. The only thing that is certain is that, just like when they had to jump out of the car to get of the time loop earlier, it had taken them a few times in the loop to escape it. Thus, why earlier, the presence of third person with Boris and Natasha had been noted by the owner of the Bejeweled egg.
