The Amazing Everything Wiki

Made up people or person like entities categorized by their sex as defined by biology.

Biological sex has generally had a pervasive social impact on a character's position, standing, and role within the society they reside in. Cultures have differed in what these are, for example in native Hawaiian culture it was the male's role to cook as part of providing for the house while in most cultures it is the female's role to cook in the household. These roles based on biological sex eventually lead to the development of Gender Theory. With sex and gender being traditionally one and the same the theory's proposal that due to gender roles differing from culture to culture gender identity is a social construct lead many to reflect on the traditional role they where expected to play in their society. A number of sexual identities such as the Transsexual/Transgender communities use biological sex to define themselves as without one sex to transition out of and another to transition into Transsexuals have no identity. Without gender norms and the social limitations, pronouns, and social expectations expected out of those of a specific sex the Transgender community has nothing to transcend. As such, the presence of this organizational category is not meant to diminish or belittle anyone's reflection on the subject of gender and sexual identity.
