Heterosexuality is attraction to members of the opposite sex. For a fictional character to be considered a heterosexual character the narrative must present them as engaging in a romance with or expressing an attraction towards someone of the opposite sex. The character must not have engaged narratively in a romance or consensual sexual act with a character of the same sex.
