Homicide means 'Human Killing' and refers to the act of killing a Human as opposed to 'Suicide' which means 'Self Killing' or 'Patricide' which is 'Father Killing'. Homicidal characters have a mental preoccupation with killing Humans. Some are strategic killers (such as serial killers or professional assassins) while others are 'Homicidal Maniacs' who have no rational to the means in which they kill people with such killings coming on impulse.
This is not a category for characters who have merely killed a Human (such could have been unintentioned) but rather for those characters who are mentally preoccupied with the thought of killing Humans or who readily take up such thought without any personal issue such as those characters who look down upon Humans as lesser beings who can be killed without weighing upon such a character's conscience..
