Christian Science Fiction is a hybrid genre combining elements of the Christian Fiction and Science Fiction genres. Christian Science Fiction speculates about and imagines technological advances, social changes, and environmental changes through a Christian interpretation. This interpretation could be from a doctrinal stand point or scripturally inspired. Christian Science Fiction tends to utilizes Christian Science, which in it's self is the interpretation of science that seeks to support the biblical narrative regarding the origin of life and nature of the world. Such science tends to incorporates intelligent design via guided evolution or creationism and Christian Sociology. Christian Science Fiction utilizes such elements in a supportive manner. Time Travel and prophesied events in the future are recurring elements.
