D-Tritus is the robotic protagonist of the 2004 computer game 'Scrapland'. D-Tritus built himself in a scrapyard on an asteroid and eventually built a ship to leave in search of other intelligent beings. This eventually brought him to Scrapland, a massive asteroid once known as Earth where he encounters and joins an odd robotic society formed around "The Great Database" from which a religion has evolved. The Great Database stores every robot's programing and thus 'death' is unknown in this society. He learns that the machines fear Humans do to what Humans did to their own world (Earth)- some fear Humans enough to despise them. It is here on this strange world that D-Tritus is recruited to work as a local news channel and assigned to report on a recent murder. For someone destroyed the Archbishop of Chimera (a city on Scrapland) and erased the Archbisop's program from The Great Database. Investigating this murder leads D-Tritus down a shifting conspiracy first pointing towards a Human, then to the Bankers, and finally to the real killer who was among the staff of the news agency.
