Elena Slough (July 4, 1889 – October 5, 2003) was the oldest recognized person in the United States from the death of Mary Christian on April 20, 2003, until Slough's own death that following October, six months later. After her death, the oldest recognized person in the United States was Charlotte Benkner.
Some sources date her birth to 1888, but the oldest records state that she was born in 1889.
