Corporal Reiss is a non-player character in Borderlands 2. According to Roland's dialogue during the player mission 'The Road to Sanctuary' Corporal Reiss was the first Crimson Lanceman Roland recruited to the Crimson Raiders making him the most seasoned filemen in the Resistance. Players first catch sight of Corporal Reiss at the Fishguts Outpost after he's stolen a power core from the Bloodshot Bandits encamped there. He destroyed the bridge using the rockets mounted to his Technical' before being pursued. Players will in the course of the mission find his destoryed Technical and him being beaten down by the bandits. Too weak to return to Santuary he uses his dying breaths to tell the Vault Hunter to take the power core to Sanctuary lest the Resistance be defenseless.
