GE3-series protocol droids are a type of a droid introduced in the Old Republic video games. Lore wise they where the most common and best selling protocol droid in the galaxy from 3960 BBY until 3950 BBY. The droids came in various models; each having the same droid body but differing in programming. GE3's came in masculine and feminine programming depending on such models. The medical and pilot varieties saw the most demand. The GE3's decline in the Galactic Republic came following the defeat of Revan's Sith Empire which the manufacturer, the Czerka Corporation, had supplied with arms and other utilities.
