Genesis 7 is a Christian Science Fiction live action TV show set in a future (the year 2082) where secular science has been suplanted by Young Earth Creation Science. The 12 episode TV show, aimed at pre-adolescents, follows the crew of Genesis 7 which is on a mission to terraform venus. The TV show began airing in the year 2013.

Notes on the Setting[]
Genesis 7 has a feel similar to Star Trek: Enterprise due to influence from coverage of NASA. Evolution as the origin of a species has been dismissed by this world's scientific community along with the theory of the universe having been created over the course of billions of years. This is at large the result of the Evangelical movement that brought about a state of fellowship around the world. Earth's space program is geared towards peaceful exploration, colonization, and exploitation of space with a mission to glorify the creator in all that it does.

The show was created as a Christian alternative to secular and atheist leaning science fiction shows that appeal to a young audience. Specifically it was made to appeal to youth who found Star Trek: Enterprise enjoyable while serving as a vehicle for providing a foundation of Christian Science with in the target audience. Though by the time of the show's production Star Trek: Enterprise was off the air. While the producers where unable to work with NASA the way the team behind Star Trek: Enterprise was able to they still looked upon it's media for ideas on how to portray space and on how to create educational media.
