The first movie trailer was criticized for its CGI, comedy and characters. The first trailer is the most disliked trailer on YouTube and the 3rd most disliked video with now over 900,000 dislikes. Other criticisms and contravery have also came from the trailer as well.
Treatment of critics[]
The writers have been criticized for how they deal with criticism. An additional problem critics of the movie face is that Social Justice Warriors (SJWs) often call critics sexist when they dislike the trailer, this is due to the main cast being female. A notable case was when James Rolfe made a video called "Ghostbusters 2016, no review i refuse", he got tons of backlash from it from feminists and many news articles.
