Template:Infobox Gilbert Gottfried (February 28, 1955 - April 12, 2022) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, singer, voice artist, and comedian, best known for his trademark comedic persona of speaking in a loud, grating tone of voice and squinting. He has played numerous roles in films and shows, perhaps most notably voicing Iago in Aladdin and his role as Igor Peabody in the Problem Child movies. Gottfried is also known for voicing Digit in Cyberchase and the Aflac Duck in the Aflac commercials until the company fired him on March 14, 2011 for poking fun at the tsunami and earthquake in Japan; afterwards, Gottfried was replaced by Daniel McKeague on April 26, 2011.
