The Half Cent is the smallest division of U.S. Currency. It was issued in the Coinage Acts of 1792, and made of 100% Copper. The coin was removed from circulation by the Coinage Acts of Febuary 21, 1857. All Half Cent pieces where minted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
