Hans Baumann (22 April 1914 - 7 November 1988), was a German poet and author of childrens books. In the 1930s he wrote numerous poems, ballads and songs with various themes, such as his famous Es zittern die morschen Knochen, which became the official marching song of the Reichsarbeitsdienst in 1935.
