Jimmy McMillan (born December 1, 1946) is an American political activist, karate expert, and veteran of the Veitnam Conflict whose been employed in lines of work ranging from a male stripper to private investigator. He is best known for founding the Rent Is Too Damn High Party of New York state. In 2012 he ran as a Republican Presidential candidate in the party's primary election, however, on September 13, 2012 he suspended his campaign to run as Mayor of New York City, and endorsed Barack Obama.
