Johanna Booyson (January 17, 1857 - June 16, 1968) was a South African supercentenarian and the oldest living person in the world for 87 days.
Life[]
Booyson was born in 1857. With the death of John Mosely Turner on March 21, 1968, she became the oldest person in the world. At the time of her death she was the fifth oldest person ever, behing Delina Filkins, Mary Kelly, Betsy Baker, and John Mosely Turner. She died at 111 years of age. Marie Bernátková succeeded her as the oldest person.
