Biography[]
Background[]
Lizzie Doss was born in 1972 to Abby Doss and James. Lizzie was different, even as a child due to a pharmaceutical trial her mother had enrolled in while pregnant with Lizzie. Her mother, kicked from the trail after her condition was discovered, became addicted to prescription painkillers while Lizzie was very young. James left Lizzie and Abby due to the addiction and began to pay child support shortly after. Lizzie's mother would eventually leave Lizzie too in death. Lizzie by then was old enough to be on her own and most of the things in the house she got rid of but other things she let stay as they where- collecting dust even as the rooms she used where very well cleaned. Abby's death lead Lizzie to blame KoiTech, the pharmaceutical company who had ran the medical trial her mother was on and likely the one that created the painkillers she was addicted to. This blame lead Lizzie to develop in her mind a vast conspiracy where in the company is somehow to blame for all of her woes. The school counselor, Mrs. Smythe, is considered by Lizzie to be part of this conspiracy as an agent of KoiTech simply as Mrs. Smythe - who is also a psychiatrist - relies heavily on medication in her treatment plans with favoritism for KoiTech products which are produced locally in town. Lizzie was mostly afraid for herself before she saw John for the first time. Her fear being that she's some kind of terrible blemish on the company's reputation and that if she's not careful KoiTech will remove her to eliminate a liability. After seeing John, one of Mrs. Smythe's patients and a student at her school, she began to worry a lot about him and this concern for his welbeing became an obsession and the obsession is something she's equated to love at first sight.

Alternative Lives[]
- Crimson Gray (Happiness Ending) - In this ending Mrs. Smythe, the school counselor and John's psychiatrist, is not killed by Lizzie. Having killed no one, but rather gotten scared of being hunted after another student like her committed murder at the County Fair she suggested that John and her run away together. John agreed to do so rather than staying in an enviroment that stressed her. The two eventually became a normal couple- they just told everyone the knife collection belonged to John.
