Mass Effect: Andromeda is the fourth installment of the Mass Effect video game series published in March of 2017. The game places the player in control of either the male or female twin children of Alec Ryder, a former N7 (Alliance Military Elite) with a scientific apitude. The player character has been in stasis for 600 years and had joined in a privately funded extra-galactic colonizaton initiative. After things go horribly wrong the player character finds themselves put in the position of 'Pathfinder' whose task it is to find worlds suitable for colonization, make first contact with alien life, and keep the initiative together.
