He's a product of the teaching, recruiting and friendship of fellow Senegal product Amadou Gallo Fall, a Dallas Mavericks scouting director. Moussa Seck is a pupil at the Seed Academy, a free basketball boarding school founded in 2003 by Fall.
Seed's motto is "sports for education and economic development." Its mission is to "give young people the possibility to succeed in life through sports and education and later to help their families." Moussa Seck has had an opportunity as a member of the Mavs' Summer League team.
