
Muqtada "Musa" al-Sadr was a former member of the Sadr City section of Baghdad. He was the commander of the al-Mahdi army, an Iran-based Islamic militant group. He was accused of murdering lots of innocent people, including pro-America cleric Abd al-Majid al-Khoi. He was arrested numerous times, but he disappeared into the unknown never to be heard from again.
