Nagara naga himitsu no reptiles

Nagara Naga works in the reptile department of a pet store in the manga Himitsu no Reptiles. She introduces the manga's protagonist to the world of reptile pet care and serves as his mentor.

Character Conception[]

The manga's writer and artist, Gujira, had largely worked in the field of hentai manga and wanted to try his pen at a more wholesome subject and thus devised a manga aimed at educating readers on reptile pet care. For the female duetagonist of his work Gujira opted for someone conservatively dressed and introverted to help dissuade him from going into territory he was more familiar with. Unfortunately, his passion for hentai was a bit too strong and his work (by Issue 2) entered into the category of ecchi fiction through the introduction of a perversely minded female stalker character with an interest in Nagara. Nagara Naga was imagined by Gujira as a 'Komodo Dragon Personified'.

Personality[]

"Please keep your distance Homo Sapians of the non-Reptilian persuasion." - Nagara Naga, Himitsu no Reptiles Issue 1

Nagara Naga is a peculiar person with unusual speech patterns and behaviors. She's not a very social person, her clothing is very conservative as an expression of her introverted nature yet when ever on the topic of reptiles she's very outgoing at times to the point of obsessiveness. She tends to refer to others who share her obsession as comrades and can be a bit cruel in her coldness towards others. She takes great joy in teaching people about reptiles, and in caring for them.
