Pelé (b. 1941-) is a retired football player who was an attacker for Santos and New York Cosmos and a respected Brazil
international. He is often regarded as the best football player of all time alongside the likes of Diego Maradona and Franz Beckenbauer. He is most noted for his record of scoring over 1,000 career goals and upon approaching the record, journalists discovered he held every single goalscoring record in football except for one, most headers in one match which surprisingly enough was held by Pele's own father with an alleged 5 goals.
