Detailed Plot[]
Continuity[]
The 2003 Duck Dodgers animated series is both episodic and metafictional. It's written not as events in Warner Bros. Looney Tunes setting but as a TV show in which Daffy Duck portrays the protagonist. Due to this while it's in reality the first episode of the show's second season it's the second episode (episode 1.22) of the series to have aired in the fictional world of Looney Tunes that the audience is aware of.
In the real world it's followed by the episode "Invictus Interruptus" and proceeded by the episode "Duck Departure". In the fictional world of Looney Tunes the episode the audience saw prior was "A Lame Duck Mind" (episode 0.09) and the one that followed was "The Queen is Wild" (episode 2.09).
