
Robinson Crusoe on Mars is a 1964 science fiction that follows Astronaut Commander Christopher 'Kit' Draper of the USN after he arrives on Mars after the first Manned Mission to Mars goes very wrong. The only survivor Draper must continue to survive and hold out for rescue, but in this he discovers a threat to humanity it's self.

The film was originally going to be titled "Gravity Pod One; Mars" but the Paramount sales manager Charles Boasberg felt the name sounded too much like a documentary.
