
Stanely Allen Meyer (August 24, 1940 — March 20, 1998) is an American Inventor who in claimed to have invented a Water Fuel Cell that could be attached to any automobile thus allowing it to be fueled solely by Oxyhydrogen gas produced by the electrolysis of water. His patent became pending, and in 1996 a court examined his produced in which it was determined that some of his claims were fraudulent. The court ruled that their was "was nothing revolutionary about the cell at all and that it was simply using conventional electrolysis." Meyers had to pay investors $25,000 for product fraud. In 1998, Meyers was in a meeting with two Belgian investors before he ran outside of a restaurant shouting "They poisoned me!", and shortly there after dying of cerebral aneurysm.
