Teresa Brisby is the eldest daughter of Mrs. Brisby in the Don Bluth film "The Secret of NIMH ' where she is eleven and has a brief appearance in the sequel "The Secret of NIMH 2" at the age of sixteen. She was voiced by Shannen Doherty in the first film and by Jamie Cronin in the second.

Teresa Brisby is the eldest daughter of Mrs. Brisby and Mr. Brisby. Her mother was a normal field mouse while her father was one who had been researched on by the National Institute of Mental Health and thus possessed a Human level of Intellect. Through his efforts Mrs. Brisby became as intelligent as himself and after his death Mrs. Brisby was able to pass on his lessons to her children. [1] Due to this Teresa has the potential to be smarter than her mother and potentially longer lived.
