The Case of the Disappearing Diamond is the 2nd episode of The Country Mouse and City Mouse Adventures series. The episode sees the cousins Alexander (City Mouse) and Emily (Country Mouse) traveling to London for Queen Victoria's Golden Jubalee. Once there they are informed by Emily's cousin Agatha that preparations are not going smoothly as the Kohinoor Diamond had gone missing from the royal crown. The two on behalf of Molly, a servant's daughter, seek out the missing diamond. The short first aired on March 7, 1998 and has a run time of roughly 24 minutes.
