The Farmer is a common villager type.
Villagers are a passive mob in minecraft that inhabit NPC villages. They are characterized by their large heads, unibrows, and long nose. A combination of freatures that has earned them the nickname Squidwards. Villagers live a relatively quite life of farming, and study however, when night falls they quickly hide behind their doors to protect themselves from the Zombies that roam the night. Due to this constant threat it is not uncommon (on hardmode, and Hardcore) to find entire villages zombified. A village may have an Iron Golem as protection from such assualts. Villagers can be traded with inorder to aquire tools, armor, enchantments, and food. These may be barter based trades (one item for another), or done via Emeralds, which act as the village currency. Villagers can be found holding a number of professions; Blacksmith, Butcher, Farmer, Librarian, and Priest. Each of which has a different set of trades available to players.
