Yasu Akino(b. March 1, 1885–d. February 12, 1999) was a Japanesesupercentenarian and the oldest living person in Japan from November 18, 1998 to her death on February 12, 1999. She died at the age of 113 years and 348 days. She spent the last years of her life bedridden after she suffered a fall.
